Sorry About Your Luck

A little luck is never a bad thing. Until it is.

On the day before fire season began, James didn’t expect a small angry woman to kick him out of his cabin in the middle of the night.

To be fair, Sam didn’t expect to find a sasquatch-sized shadow in her bed either!

Turns out, someone at the US Forest Service accidentally hired two complete strangers to man the Tower Mountain fire lookout for the summer - as a married couple.

When neither of them is willing to give up the position, the Forest Service tells them to make it work. With a plan in place to keep the tower manned seven days a week, they both secretly plot to drive the other off. Unfortunately, for James, Sam is a witch on a mission and has just the thing to send him packing. This sets off a war of pranks and wits, and one well-timed hex. With severe weather brewing, smoke on the horizon and passions inflamed, it’s only a matter of time before something serious ignites.
